Trek 2022

On June 14-16, 2022, 170 youth from the Stafford Stake participated in the 2022 Trek (a re-enactment of the trek pioneers made in 1847-1868. Read more here.) in Hume, Virginia.  The theme of the Trek was to “Endure to be Pure to Enter the Temple."  

This theme was focused in three specific ways:

• I will develop a greater personal testimony and relationship with the Savior through the Holy Ghost, by walking in the eyes of God on a journey to be pure, so I can worthily enter the temple.

• I will strive to create unity amongst the youth of the Stafford Stake by patiently enduring the challenges of life.

• I will triumph over adversity by resisting temptation and standing strong for truth and righteousness.

After almost 15 miles or pushing/pulling handcarts over three days, the theme/purpose of trek shined bright in the lives of the Stafford Stake Youth.
